Robert Talevski, engaged with Jonathan Shapiro of The Australian Financial Review, delving into the topic of active versus passive managers and explored the optimal scenarios for adopting active & passive investment strategies. “In markets where inefficiencies exist or where information is not immediately reflected in prices, active managers can exploit these opportunities to potentially generate excess returns,” he said. Active managers also did well in bear markets, Mr Talevski said. “Skilled active managers can use their expertise to navigate bear markets more effectively.
