Meet our team
Robert is the founder of Activam Group, bringing over 28 years of extensive experience in investment management and advisory roles within the Australian superannuation sector and institutional investors.
Prior to founding Activam, Robert established Activus Investment Advisors (Activus) as well as Brightstone Capital Advisors, where he provided investment advisory services to Australian superannuation funds, institutional investors, and high net worth individuals. Notably, he managed portfolios including the $3 billion Global Private Markets and $5 billion Global Shares at Australia's largest corporate superannuation fund.
Robert's career also includes significant contributions as an Investment Consultant at Australia’s largest asset consultant, advising large industry and corporate super funds, charities, and private wealth clients, overseeing portfolios totalling $50 billion. His international experience spans roles in London with INVESCO, IMS (Investment Manager Selection), and Threadneedle Investments.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting & Law) from Victoria University and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA).

Alex is a senior investment professional with a wealth of knowledge and expertise, spanning over 20 years. Alex has undertaken roles with a broad range of financial services organisations, specialising in investment research, portfolio management, analytical investment reporting, and client consulting. Alex plays an important role in applying his expertise to support and drive our investment team and support us in achieving our investment and client objectives.
Alex has contributed significantly to the investment teams at multi-manager investment organisations; these experiences provided him with insights into diverse investment strategies and approaches. Additionally, Alex has served as a senior investment risk & analytical services consultant, where he collaborated with large institutional clients, addressing intricate analytical challenges, and finding innovative solutions. More recently, Alex played a pivotal role in the establishment of a new investment management capability. This experience underscores his adaptability and skill in shaping and implementing strategic initiatives.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA).
Will Loebis-Arnost is the Senior Investment Analyst at Activam. Prior to joining Activam, Will accrued extensive experience as an Investment Analyst, working with Wealth Management Firms, Property Fund Managers, and Dealer Groups. His expertise encompasses fund manager research, risk and performance analysis, and customised portfolio blending, which involves integrating various investment strategies to optimise client outcomes. Will also possesses a strong background in due diligence and compliance reporting for numerous industry superannuation funds.
Will's career in the financial services industry began with roles as a junior stockbroker and researcher. His diverse experience includes financial trading, stock market investing, and the operation and management of small businesses. Additionally, Will is a keen investor and researcher, with a particular interest in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Will holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of South Australia, a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan, a Diploma of Business from Deakin University, and a Bachelor of Exercise Science/Human Movement as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Exercise Physiology from Victoria University.
To stay active and focused, Will actively participates in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he coaches, trains, and competes. He holds black belts in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and judo, maintaining his focus and discipline through these activities.
Clara has over 7 years of experience in financial research and data analysis, specialising in the evaluation of investment opportunities across major asset classes. Leveraging her expertise in statistical models and analytical tools, including proficiency in Python, R, and advanced Excel techniques, Clara supports informed decision-making processes and provides data-driven solutions.
She excels in conducting comprehensive research and analysis, evaluating market trends, and assessing investment risks and potential returns based on quantitative methods. Clara is adept at conducting sensitivity analysis, scenario modelling, and stress testing to enhance decision-making accuracy.

Kristina co-founded and successfully built then sold a financial planning practice and has contributed her expertise to boutique firms and one of Australia’s leading banks. Most recently, engaged as a senior consultant with a Big 4 consultancy firm.

She is dedicated to fostering meaningful client engagement, leveraging her skills to deliver tailored outcomes that enhance our practices' investment frameworks. Nap brings nearly two decades of experience in the dynamic field of communications and marketing. His
expertise spans Corporate Communications, Public and Media Relations, Social Media Management,
Promotional Events Production, Campaign Strategy, and Multimedia Marketing.
As Marketing and Communications Manager at Activam Group, Nap drives our marketing initiatives, events
and assists with client communication, reporting, and collateral development. He plays a pivotal role in
enhancing client engagement and creating adviser and client materials that support the needs of advice
practices.
Previously, Nap served as a Content Writer and Advertising & Promotions Officer at ABS-CBN for over 15
years. He also worked as a freelance digital marketing specialist.
Nap graduated with honours, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication.
Mark has over 15 years of leadership experience in the superannuation industry both as an executive and trustee director. He is an independent superannuation consultant who helps clients with mergers and acquisitions, strategy & growth, and governance.
Prior to consulting, Mark was the Executive General Manager of the superannuation trustee business at Equity Trustees, responsible for the exponential growth of the business, achieving growth from $1 billion to over $60 billion of Funds Under Management and increasing the business head count from 4 to over 45 employees in 7 years.
Mark has extensive experience with board, committees and regulators and has been responsible for the successful completion of complex projects in the highly regulated superannuation industry, such as Successor Fund Transfer and new fund start-up projects.
